Giddy-Up

Allie has been quite the cowgirl lately. Grandma Ganne and Paka got her a pink cowgirl hat and cowgirl boots for Christmas. Every once in a while she wants to head to Texas and ride her horse. Here are a few pics from the latest adventures!

Got Food?

The fish at the Hulbert house sure do! I heard what I thought was Allie "fixing" something in the other room with her Handy Manny tools and said what are you fixing Allie? She said oh nothing, I am feeding the fish.

Yep....she was feeding the fish!

Chugga...Chugga...Choo...Choo...

Our new session at Kindermusik has been all about trains and modes of transportation. Allie has been totally into singing "I've been working on the railroad"....and it is so cute to hear her. So it was perfect timing to go to the Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento. We have talked about going before but have never gone. Yesterday, we met cousin Kainoa, Grandma & Paka downtown for a visit at the museum. It was a rainy, blustery day here so a perfect place to be. I think everyone else with little ones thought so too! We finished off the day at The Old Spaghetti Factory and had lunch in the train car. The kids had a blast.
**I will post Allie singing once I get the whole thing. I have been catching her in the middle while she is on Skype with my parents. What would we do without technology????

Sky High

Allie had a great time jumping at Sky High with the big boys. We met Unc Scott, Aunt Cole, Todd & Ryan at Sky High to jump on the trampolines. It was a really cool place and lots of stuff for all ages. Allie got a little overwhelmed at times but overall had fun. Daddy was a good sport and jumped on the 8 and under court most of the time but they did play a little dodge ball. Allie was not sure how to play so she just threw the ball at whoever (teammates and all). We went to Allie's all time favorite place to eat (Red Robin) after all the hard work of jumping. We will have to try it again soon.

Silly Girl

Allie is so much fun these days. She has a great imagination and says the most random things sometimes. She remembers EVERYTHING and comes up with the funniest things! The other night we were at dinner and she was across the table from Geoff and said "So how is your dinner handsome?" we stopped eating and were like...did she just say that? So of course we laughed and she said it again. It was too cute! She is still really into dressing up and having tea parties! Lately she has been playing fetch with her dog, "dad". Geoff crawls around like a dog and barks and fetches the beach ball. Then when he takes it to Allie she says "good dog" and pats his head. It is really fun to watch. Someday we will get a dog, but we need to have a baby sister first! Free entertainment 24/7 at the Hulbert House. Here are a few random pics from the last week or so. Enjoy!

It's a GIRL.....

Yes, we are welcoming another princess into our home in May!! We are very excited to have another girl. Allie has been saying all along that she is having a sister. Early on she would once in a while say she is having a brother, or a brother and a sister...and I would say oh it will just be ONE...a brother or a sister, not both!! At one of our early ultrasounds the tech said the little ones are usually right on the money when they say what they are having, and sure enough Allie was right! We had a ultrasound before Christmas but the tech was a little goofy and said I was measuring one day short of 18 weeks so she would not do the whole ultrasound, but she did tell us it was a girl. Since she was not quite with it, we were not sure if she was correct but did see the "three dots" like we did with Allie so we were pretty sure it was a girl. On Tuesday, we went in for the "big" ultrasound and everything was good and yes she is still a girl! This tech did not speak at all until the very end...45 minutes later...so it was a little weird but I felt more confident with her than the last one. Geoff could see the little one wiggling around and putting her hands in her mouth and I could surely feel her! It was a bit uncomfortable with a full bladder but totally worth it to know that we have a healthy little one kickin' around! Now I am officially over the half-way mark. We are very blessed and can't wait to meet our new little princess!! Allison talks to my belly and asks us if her sister is going to "crack out" she must think I look like an egg!

Almost 21 weeks...what will I look like in May? Yikes!

Happy New Year

Allie wanted to sing Happy Birthday this morning at breakfast so instead we rang in the new year with "Happy New Year....." She is full of great ideas! We wish all of our family and friends a Happy New Year and look forward to a wonderful 2010!
