Allison's 7th Birthday Party

Last year Allie had her birthday at a gymnastics center with no air conditioning and it was super hot! This year, she wanted a pool party! We rented the Manor Pool in Davis and the kids and parents had a blast! We might have her party at the pool every year! We had a great evening celebrating our sweet 7 year old!  It was lots of fun.

Just for the record....Allison got her first bee sting in the pool. It reacted fine at first then a week later looked like this....she is not allergic to bees but just allergic to bug bites in general according to Dr. O

Recital 2014

Our little dancers had another great recital weekend. This is Allison's 4th year performing and Paige's 2nd year. The girls were in different classes this year so it was fun to watch. Paige was not sure if she was going to dance in her "itchy" costume, but she did and did a great job. Allison is always super excited to perform on the big stage and really jazzed it up while dancing. Allison danced to "Rainbows, Sunshine and Lollipops" and Paige danced to "Animal Crackers". So fun to watch. Our cousins Nora and Ruby were both in 2 dances each, so it was a lot of fun. We had lots of friends and family there to support the girls and I didn't get pictures of everyone. I will do better next year!  Cheers to another crazy, fun, exciting, recital weekend!

Nora and Als getting ready for the big show!
Cousins hanging out back stage....Liz in the background putting the finishing touches on Nora's makeup

Just so you can see the craziness behind the scenes.....
Paige chatting it up with cousin Ruby Doo....

Aunt Fay always takes a "backstage" shift and Nora was taking a little rest on her knee....
All lined up and ready to go on stage....I don't have any "lined up" shots of Allison because the girls numbers were far enough apart that I could get Paige off the stage and we ran to our seats to see Allie on stage each night!

Flowers after the first show! The girls did awesome and were excited to get their bouquets
This was at intermission and Nora was in the second half so she was still backstage waiting to go on...
Geoff was proud of his girls....his youngest little sweetheart said "no thanks" to a picture with Dad!
So proud of these sweet girls. There is nothing like being a mama and seeing your girls on stage!
Grandma and Paka were at opening night, of course!
Cousins Liz and Ruby. The girls are becoming quite the little dancers like their mama Liz!
The Oregon crew flew down to see the show. Great Grandpa Ron , Pa, Grandma and cousin Morgs
The girls. Morgan even got all "dolled up" to come watch the shows! Fun times!
