Throw Back...Als 24 Months Old

As Paige's first birthday gets closer and closer I starting to get nervous. Have I taken enough pictures? Have I taken enough video clips? Am I writing down all of her milestones? Will I remember everything she does? Time just flies by too fast and I just wish I could stop time sometimes. As I was uploading the latest videos of the girls, and looking through old ones, I found this of Allie. It is amazing to me that she was just 24 months old. She has always been a talker and a smart little cookie but it amazes me how "with it" she was...... and yes I remember it, but nothing is better than a little video clip to remind you ;o) Enjoy!!

American River Parkway 1/2 Marathon

After 7 months of training, I finally completed my first 1/2 marathon. I don't have the right words to explain it, but I finished it and I am glad I did. Miles 11 and 12 were brutal....you know you are so close but still have a ways to go! Geoff and the girls were there to meet me at the finish line so that was nice to see them after 13.1 miles. There were 50 us of from our group (The Pacific Coasters) that crossed the finish line on Saturday. Our teams motto was "Do the thing and you will have the power" and we certainly "did the thing". It is a great feeling to accomplish something that once seemed near impossible!

Mom's Little Helper

Paige is in to everything these days. She loves to pull things out and put them away or just likes to make a big mess. While I was working on the computer she decided to help me with my work! She knows there are lots of fun things in my work bag! Jack kept snoozing on his bed while she rustled papers around him.

Royal Playdate

On Friday, our neighbor invited us over for a "Royal Playdate". The mamas got to watch the royal wedding while the little ones played together. Allie was excited because she got to make her very own crown with jewels! We did not take pictures at the playdate but here is Allie wearing her crown!
