Happy Birthday Daddy-O

On the 8th, we celebrated Geoff's 36th Birthday....wow that sounds old :o) We are young at heart so that is all that matters :o) The girls had dance class, so we went to dance class, had a little birthday dinner at Panera and then had cake at home. The girls made a cake with Grandma Ganne for Geoff the day before and it was covered on our counter with a note (from Allie), not to open until his actual birthday!  Happy Birthday to the best dad and husband...we are lucky girls!! Cheers to many more!! We love you Daddy-O!!

Soccer

Allie has been off and on about playing soccer. Some days she wants to sign up, and other days, not so much. So through our local parks and rec department they have Just For Kicks soccer camps, so we thought we would start with this. Tuesday was her first session and it was lots of fun. When she was getting ready to go, she was a little grumpy because she did not have anything that was "sporty enough". Usually when we want her to wear "sporty" stuff she says she "looks like a boy". Once we got on our "sporty clothes" we were ready to rock and roll.

Allison wanted to be early (as always) so Geoff, Allison and Paige practiced before the real deal. It was fun to watch them! It was cool to see both girls run and kick the ball. I wish I would have had my zoom lens..some are pretty far away.

The group is 4-5 year olds, and most have never played before. The coach is a senior at UC Davis and she is awesome. There was a big boy who was 7 and he was a little intimidating when they scrimmaged  so Allie had a few tears, but all and all had a good time.  She even scored a goal at the end!! Grandma and Paka were there to cheer her on too. We look forward to next weeks session.

Visit with P-A

The girls LOVE when my parents come to town. This time they split the trip. Dad came last weekend and mom is coming next weekend. Allie was not feeling her best but Paigee girl was in full force and feeling back to normal when Pa arrived. They had lots of fun playing with P-A. My dad forgets he is in his 50's when he is with the girls...such a kid at heart and we love him lots and lots!! Thanks for coming to visit Pa!!

Trick-or-Treat

Fiona & Eric kept up their tradition and had a little Halloween party before heading out to trick-or-treat. Last year, our trick-or-treating was short lived because Allison was afraid of the big, scary masks, so we were not sure how this year would go. Both girls were troopers and loved every minute of trick-or-treating. It was fun to go as a big group and Allie and Paige loved it! Paige would skip back from the house and say "I got a ton of candy" and then skip on to the next house. There were 7 little ones all dressed up so they had fun going from door to door. In one picture Allie is plugging her ears (she has done this since she was little, when she is nervous or afraid) and that is when a group of big, scary kids were passing by. Later, Allie said she was fine when scary things passed because she was singing "Onward Christian Soldiers"....good thing she knows it, because Geoff and I don't! Oh Als!

Geoff's Little Football Player...she loves to wear "Wheels" football helmet

Baby Josie was a little chicken

Little Miss Bee

Little Ballerina Kitty Cat

Ben was the best darn Elf on the Shelf ever....love it!

 Will the Football Player

 Bailee was a unicorn

We beat the rain trick-or-treating with the crew, but then it started pouring so we went on to Grandma and Paka's to see cousin Kainoa. He was in his glory....dressed as a Ninja. He said he would protect all of us! The girls wanted to fill their treat bags by the end of the night, and they sure did!!

We had a very Happy Halloween!!
