Yesterday was Allie's "real" birthday. We had a great day and kinda celebrated all day. In the morning she got to eat on our breakfast on our "You are Special" red plate, so that was fun. She wanted a chocolate chip pancake with whipped cream and lots of candles. So that is what she got! When she woke up first thing in the morning she wanted to put on a party dress! This is why she has bed head and a cute dress for her birthday breakfast!!
A little later in the day we headed to Red Robin so we could celebrate birthday lunch with Grandma, Paka, Aunt Jen, Uncle Timi and cousin Kainoa. The balloon she got from them was a Tinkerbell balloon that sang, and it was a big as her! Paige loved the singing too and ate so many fries I thought she was going to pop!
After naps at home, we went to Grandma and Paka's for a dip in the pool. Paige and Allison love the water and could swim all day long. We had a nice evening and had a special princess cake that Allie spotted at Costco a while ago. Grandma and Paka knew just the right one to get, and she loved it!
Allison has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of fireworks at the stands around town. Now that they are finally selling them, we got a few fireworks after lunch and did a few out front at Grandma and Paka's before we left. Paige hung out on the porch with her little "friends" then moved closer to the action a little later. Allie had a great 4th Birthday. We look forward to lots of good things this year. We love you Macer!!
Geoff and I were married in 2001 and were blessed with our first daughter, Allison Grace in July 2007, and our second daughter, Paige Kaitlyn in 2010. I am a part-time, independent study teacher and Geoff is an administrator at our school. We have a good balance of work and home. We created this blog to keep our family and friends in the loop and let them know what goes on around the Hulbert house. Thanks for reading!
