Children's Museum

Allie the little builder
Brush, brush, brush your teeth...
Listening to the babies heart with Grandma
Who is having more fun in the tunnel?
Our little rock star!

We had a great time at the Portland Children's Museum during our visit up north. Allie liked playing in the construction zone, climbing through the tunnel with Pa and brushing the alligators teeth. She also tried to sing on stage with another little girl...it was funny to see her. It was a fun time on a rainy Portland day.

Visit with Grandma and Pa

Allie on the trampoline with Pa

Allie has been excited to go to Port-a-aland to see Grandma Rhonda and Pa for quite a while. She has been talking about getting on the airplane and buckling up so we can fly there and see them. For the last 3 weeks at nap time we always talk about who we are going to see when we visit and she was very excited to see all of the Portland family. We had a great time visiting with all of our family. We had a great trip and can't wait to go back and visit again soon!

Ducks...ducks....and more ducks

Our friends Jane and Nick Shein came from Bend to visit Nick's parents in Davis this weekend. We wanted Allie and their daughter Lauren to meet again. They met when Allie was 3 months and Lauren was 3 weeks. Now they are both walking around...where does the time go? They all went to the Arboretum in Davis to feed the ducks (I had a hair appt...so had to miss). Geoff said they had a wonderful time and that we had to go back. We did go back... the next day and Allie was in heaven. She loved feeding the ducks and the free space to run. She ran around saying "c'mon ducks" while chasing them. It was a blast and I think it might be a new favorite place. There are also horse stables and we saw them for a minute but Allie was not to fond of the huge horses. She did like the baby foals.
This was a great little field trip for all of us!

A funny Allie story

Allie is talking up a storm and just knows everything these days. I am shocked every day by the things she says and does. She has not nursed for a few months but sometimes at nap time asks to nurse....just to see what I will say. We have the same conversation Allie: "Nurse" Me: "Mama doesn't have any more milk its all gone". Then she says "silly nurse" I think she means silly girl...but she might as well ask, one day mom might give in....I don't think so! Today when she asked to nurse...I said the same ol' milk is all gone... and Allie said "new milk-Target". She loves going to Target so I guess she wants me to go to Target and get new milk so she can nurse.
Oh this little one never ceases to amaze me.

Little Mama

Allie and her baby
Sweet Girl
Smoochie is ready!
Singing with a bucket on her head

Allie is such a sweet little girl. She loves giving kisses, "huggies" (hugs) and now says "luv you" "missed you". She is so funny. Her latest thing is to tell everything downstairs "good night...sleep tight" before we head up to bed. It is crazy how her vocabulary just exploded over night. When she does something she thinks is good she says "good gir...me" and she is a good girl. She loves playing with her babies and wants to feed them and comb their hair...even the ones with no hair. It is so fun to watch her pretend. She has a big imagination. Allison is our little silly monkey or as she says "siwee monkey". We are very lucky to have such a sweet baby girl!!

"2 in March"

The Birthday Girl

Hutson helping at the bubble table

Allie and Nora strolling babies

Allie's cousin Nora turned 2 on Saturday. Nora has been saying "2 in March" when you ask her about her birthday....and she did indeed turned 2 in March! Last weekend it was a beautiful day and Allie loved being out at the ranch for Nora's party. All of the big kids were barefoot so Allie was a true farm girl and wore no shoes during the party. She loved finding "wiggle bugs" (potato bugs) and "ants". She is still talking about "Nor's" cake and ice cream at her party. She learned fast that at parties there is cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday cousin Nora!!

All dressed up

The little Ballerina

Why not play soccer in a tu-tu?

Allie is looks "nice" in her shades

Allie loves to pretend and dress up. She loves to wear her high heels....it is so funny to see her clomp around the house in them. I finally got her a pair of her own....I didn't want her to break her leg in mine. I will have to post a picture when I get a good one. She just found this ballerina outfit the other day and calls it her "dwess" (dress) and then says "dance" "sing" when she has it on. I guess you have to be dressed up to dance and sing! Allie is so much fun now that she is talking more and more. She is a little parrot!

Happy 10th Birthday Todd

Allie loves her cousin Toddy. We had a great time celebrating his 10th Birthday. It was at a very cool car racing place and we had fun watching the boys race around the track. The
big boys (Uncle Scott and Geoff) had lots of fun too. Todd won the race and got to take a victory lap. Allie had fun cheering on the racers. We might have a future NASCAR driver in the family.
Happy Birthday Todd!!
