Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving at The Brazelton Ranch. We always have such a fun time out at the ranch. You really forget that you are in the city of Vacaville, because it seems like you are far off in a secluded location. The kids ran around, played in the orchards, played in the tree house, made crafts and just had a great time together. We are lucky to have such a great family.

Paige made pumpkin bread and school to share with the family. She even wrote her own name!!
Uncle Jerry was the master turkey carver
 Kainoa and Als teeter-tottering
 Girl cousins
Grandma Ganne was the dessert maker....fancy schmancy with the torch and yummy!

Allison On Stage

When Allison was in preschool, one of her teachers was very active in the classes at Woodland Opera House and encouraged us to put Allison in classes. Mrs. B. always said, "One day I will be watching Allison perform on stage." We looked at classes a few years ago, but this was the first time she was age appropriate for the class. She has been taking a musical theater class through the Woodland Opera house and has loved meeting with her theater friends each week. At the end of the 9 week course, they do an open house for family and friends to come watch the classes perform. Her class performed 3 songs. Allison loved being on the "real" stage at the Opera House. We have watched many performances from the audience and now she finally got to be on stage. Lots of family and friends were there to support her and it was fun to see her so excited and animated on stage. We look forward to many more classes and performances!

Happy Birthday Daddy-O

The girls had a great time making special cupcakes for Geoff with Grandma and Paka. We had a family birthday dinner to celebrate Geoff and Uncle Scott. Then on Geoff's real birthday we had a low key time. The girls are lucky to have Geoff as a dad! They love him to pieces. We are very blessed. Happy 30 something :o) and cheers to many more!!

Snapshots

Every once in a while you just need to stop and make a wish......

I never had a sister so I didn't sleep on a trundle bed, but I always would sneak in my brothers bed once in a while. That was after we stuffed my bed to make it look like I was in there (I even remember my brother's Darth Vader figurine case made a great "head" on the pillow)...oh we were so sneaky! Or prank calling our neighbor from my parents room on our BLUE rotary phone...and watching him answer from my parents bedroom window. We thought we were so cool....and we were :-) So back on track after the little trip down memory lane.....The girls are totally excited about sleeping together in the same room. Paige does awesome in her toddler bed, so this might be something we do more regularly over Christmas break! We shall see....

The Widmer Fam hosted their first annual Chili night and of course Liss had tons of great crafts for the kiddos. Might make this an annual event....right Liss?!? Fun times!

Geoff and I finished our Co-Ed softball season undefeated! We were the D League champs for the 2nd year in a row! The girls and Grandma and Paka were troopers cheering us on at our games!!

Fall Softball

Allison's last Fall Softball game was a treat because she had a huge cheering section. My parents were in town, Grandma Ganne was there and so was Uncle Jerry. It is fun to have family there to cheer her on! It was a great season and the girls learned a lot in a short time. It is fun to see how much they have learned and grown in just 6 short weeks. It will be fun to see all of these girls back together in the spring. Geoff had fun coaching the girls too. He was in awe how much easier it was to coach girls. He was a little hesitant at first, but I think he is hooked. He said "they actually listen". A little different from his Cal Ripken team that was mostly boys and they would be hitting each other with bats, wrestling or just totally off track during stations. All and all it was a fun season and the girls had fun!

One of Allie's teammates was on a "bug catching break" with Pagie
