Tap Dancers

This is Allie's second year in tap and she loves it. She does a great job and we are excited to learn the new dance for the summer recital! It is a hoot to watch the little ones. Paige tags along to all of the classes and the parents and siblings wait in a separate room. First they do tap, then change shoes and have jazz, then at the very end the whole family gets to go into the room for "freeze dance" time. Paige loves it, and always is excited for it to be "freeze dance" time. A few weeks ago the teacher asked if Paige might join them during the jazz part of class. Geoff and I were like sure, who knows what she will do. This is a 3-5 year old class so she is VERY young compared to the others. She went in like a little pro and did exactly what she was supposed to. The teachers said, "if she does this well she can dance every week". She even told the other big girls "good job" when they were done. I knew Allie would be a trooper and she was so happy to have Paige in class. She said "Mom weren't you impressed with Paige? I am so proud of her". Allie is a great big sister and role model and it is fun to watch them together. Of course I did not have a camera since I had no idea this was going to happen the first time, so I cam prepared with my camera last week! For the last three weeks Paige has been participating in class. Last week she did the whole class. Tap, jazz and "freeze dance" and did great. It is amazing to me that she is 21 months and follows directions and does well. It is fun to watch the girls.

**The pics aren't that great because I was taking pics through a glass, but still fun to see**

Sprinkle for Liss & Baby Boy Widmer

Alissa is having her little man in about a month, so last weekend we had a little "sprinkle" to welcome her baby boy. He still does not have a name but he is loved and can't wait to welcome him to this world and meet Little Baby Boy Widmer!! Addie will be a great big sister!! I didn't get a lot of pics since I was hosting, but I am sure Liss did.

Human Rocking Horse

The girls LOVE to wrestle with Geoff when he gets off of work. Well they would wrestle anytime but that is usually when it happens. Jack likes to join in the fun also. He thinks if you are on the floor, you must pay attention to him. Oh Jack dog! During a little break from wrestling, Geoff was a human rocking horse and the girls had a blast. I am sure Geoff's abs had a workout too...it was a win-win all around!!

Our Little Dancers

Last year after Allie's dance recital you have the option of buying a DVD of the whole show. We were hesitant to buy it thinking we would never watch it, but boy were we WRONG. It has been a great investment. Both girls love to dance and know lots of the routines by heart. It is so fun to watch them "shake it" to the music and do the moves. Paige loves "Baby Face" because Allie is in that one! Now Paige has started taking tap with Allie's class, just kind of on a trial basis and she does great (will post more on that later). But on this day Allie and Paige were making up a dance routine in the kitchen. It is so fun to watch them work together and interact. You can hear Paige saying lots of "ok Al-a's" when Allie is giving directions :o)

Crazy Paige

Paige is a little joker. It is hard to believe our "baby" is going to be 2 years old in a few months. She is full of foolishness and talks up a storm. People are blown away by her verbal skills. We are used to it, but it is kinda shocking to hear some of the things she says. Her favorite word right now is "disgusting" and she loves to say "Guess what Mama?" While Allie is away at school and we have mornings together you never know what Paige will want to get into. When "Al-a" is home Paige does not always get to call the shots. But while she is away, Paige is IN CHARGE!! Here are a few pics of Paige just being her little sweet, crazy self!!

She can be studious.....

Have a crazy headband and have a tea party.....

Or pretend she is Jack with dog collar and all........

❤ Happy Valentine's Day ❤

We had a pretty low key Valentine's Day! Allie and Paige had a special breakfast at Grandma and Paka's while I was visiting Kindergarten classes and then we were just home the rest of the day. Our neighbor Will (who Paige now call Rock-en-bone) came over for a quick playdate before it got too dark.
Happy Valentine's Day!!

Pre School Valentine's Party

This year Allie's class had her Valentine's party on Friday since there is no school on Monday. I got to work in Allie's class again this year, and had a great time. I love seeing her in action at school. She loves her teachers and classmates so much, it is fun to be with her at school. I would love to be a fly on the wall all of the time!! They had lots of fun activities and got to make their own Valentine's cookies. We had a great day.
