Paige Cooing and Talking

Here is a little clip of Paige talking to Mama. I tried to put it in the last post but it wouldn't work. She is quite the little talker these days!! Hope you enjoy! Sorry about my voice...I still have not figured out how to edit it! This was a few weeks ago and I just got it to work....

Paigee Pooh

Paige Hulbert does not get as much alone "time" on the blog since her big sis is doing lots of things. But that does not mean we love her any less. I am trying to make a conscious effort to take pictures of her and sometimes I just don't do it! If I start to slack...please let me know...it is not on purpose....we love Paigee Pooh very much.

She had her 2 month check-up and is doing awesome. She weighs 11 pounds and 7 ounces, is 23 inches long and performed for Dr. Otani. She loves to "talk" and makes lots of awesome noises. She fake coughs to get our attention, bats her eyes and smiles lots. I love this stage....wish she could stay this little for longer. She has been sleeping through the nights for a while now and I hope it will continue. We have the same night time routine we did with Allie (and still do) and it is working well. Tubby-time, listen to a little music while getting jammies on, read a story, nurse and off to bed. She sleeps in the co-sleeper right next to us and does awesome all night. We love our girl and are lucky to have her!!

Crazy Busy Week

This has to be the craziest week of all weeks this summer. Allie started swimming lessons and tap, and both girls have doctors appointments. We had a lunch date yesterday with Addie and Alissa and Allie has a playdate with Grandma and Paka on Wednesday. Life is crazy.....but worth every minute! I am excited for the girls doctors appointments on Thursday. Paige will have to get shots so that won't be so great, but she is growing like a little weed so I am anxious to see how much she has grown since she was 2 weeks! It will also be fun to see if Allie is still in the 98th percentile for height and weight....I am sure she is but we shall see!

I can't believe Allie is really starting tap class. I took tap for many, many years and have lots of good memories. Today was the first day and she loved it. Allie was full of her own ideas and directions, she just needs a little practice following teacher directions...she wanted to tell the teacher what to do next......oh little miss direction! This will be good practice for pre-school. The class is really small so it will be fun to watch them as they learn more each week. At one point Allie said "how much longer do we have to do this? It is hard work". Geoff, Paige and I were there to cheer her on and had fun watching her.

Swimming lessons is going well. Allie thought she was going to have her same teacher from last year but we have been talking a lot about the fact that Maddie might not be a teacher this year. She has a new teacher Tatyana, and was totally fine with it. She waved to us and off she went with Tatyana into the pool. Paige just rolls with the flow. She laid on the blanket with Geoff and I and cooed and gurgled during the class.

Summer is crazy busy but lots of fun!!!!

Sweet Baby Paige

It is hard to believe that is has been 8 weeks since we were waiting to meet baby Paige. We were so excited and anxious to see her, and now, 8 weeks has flown by and we couldn't imagine life without her. She is an awesome baby. She is still sleeping a lot, but loves to coo and smile and interact with us. She is sleeping through the night, most nights and really just wakes up long enough to nurse and have a diaper change! I wish she could stay this little forever. I love listening to her little noises she makes when she nurses and sleeps. I am holding on tight 'cause I know it doesn't last long. We are very lucky and blessed to have such a sweet, healthy and beautiful baby girl. We love you Paigee Kates!

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess Allie

Allison Grace had a blast at her 3rd Birthday Party at Fairytale town. It happened to be International Day so there were all kinds of dance performances...Allie could have watched them all day! We celebrated with family and friends and had a great time. It was a nice day and we were able to find a spot in the shade for the kids and parents to rest in between activities. The kids played in Fairytale town, had lunch, played some more and then had the party in the castle. In the castle they played games, sang songs, read stories, had cake and ice cream and opened gifts! It was a great celebration for our 3 year old princess!!! Happy 3rd Birthday sweet Gracer!!

3 Years Old

I can't believe 3 years ago today Allie was born. After 29 long hours of labor and then a c-section, we finally got to meet our beautiful baby girl. It seems like just yesterday, but now that she is growing into a little girl it seems hard to believe that she was as little as Paige is right now. Allison Grace is a sweet little one with lots of personality. She is our full time entertainment and has an amazing imagination. My parents are in town for Allie's party so they got to celebrate on her real day too! She got to have a special birthday breakfast...chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancakes with whipped cream and a smoothie. Then Pa and Gramdma took her to the park in the morning. We asked her what she would like to do to celebrate her special day and she chose to ride the carousel at the mall with Punkie! We headed to the mall and she rode an ostrich, a horsie and the pig with Pa. When Geoff got off work we ate pizza, sang happy birthday and she got to open her big present from us! It was a princess bike (not really but to Allie a princess bike has a dinger and streamers). She was excited to see her new bike and rode it up and down the sidewalk. She rode up and down then wanted to get off....because she said "this is hard work". Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet Allie!!

Mini Party

While we were in Oregon my cousin Kristen wanted to have a mini party for Allie so they could see her open her gifts since they won't be able to make it for her party at Fairytale Town. Keslin and her grandma Leisa made cupcakes for the party and they were a hit. Allie, Keslin and Bronwyn all had a fun evening playing together and eating cupcakes. Paige and Raelyn watched from the sidelines....they will be in the mix next year! It was a fun pre-party. After the party Allie said now I am really 3. It was too cute!

Oregon Zoo

Allie always asks if she can go to the Elephant Exhibit when we go to the zoo, but the Sacramento Zoo does not have elephants so she is always disappointed. When we knew we were heading to Oregon we said we would make a trip to the zoo so she could see the elephants. Packy is an elephant that has been around for a very long time and we talked about him a lot, so she finally got to meet him and Rosie and all of the other elephants at the Oregon Zoo. She loved all of the animals but especially loved the elephants and the birds of prey show. Paige slept the whole time, then woke up long enough to nurse and have a diaper change and then back to sleep! We had a great morning at the zoo with Grandma and Pa. Pa even bought Allie her first snow cone.

Great Grandma Rosie

Paige Kaitlyn finally got to meet Great Grandma Rosie. She has been battling cancer for the last couple months and has not been feeling her best with all of the chemo treatment. She was not able to make it down to see Paige when she was born, so we wanted her to get to meet her as soon as possible. Grandma Rosie is the best Grandma in the world!!! We talk to her everyday (when she feels up to it) and skype with her, but it is just not the same as seeing her in person. A week before our trip she was hospitalized due to side effects of the treatment but they were able to get her pain under control, get her hydrated and feeling better while in the hospital. We visited her everyday in the hospital and she held Paige every time we visited. She was doing so well, she got to go home the day before we left. She was doing awesome and I hope she will continue to be pain free and get stronger each day. She loved holding Paige and Paige knew she was in good hands...she would smile and coo at Grandma Rosie. Our girls our lucky to have such a wonderful great grandma. We can't wait to see her in a few weeks!
