Playdate

We had an awesome playdate with 3 families the other day. Us, the Armstrongs and Browards. We all have kiddos in half day kinder and always talk about getting together one day after school. The Armstrong family just moved to Woodland, a block from school, so we all walked over and had an awesome afternoon together. They have a huge backyard and on the walk over to school,  Zeke informed us that his backyard "is a forest" and it really was like a huge forest. It was amazing. With 4 boys, they will spend lots of time in the "forest". It was fun to see all of the kids together. 5 boys and 4 girls were there and they had a blast. It was so funny to see them in the playroom. All of the boys were huddled in a corner building with blocks and legos and the girls were coloring and playing house. We had a great afternoon and can't wait until the next playdate!!

Grandma Ganne...this is the quilt made out of old jeans that is awesome!!

Grammy Rosie

On the 7th it was my Grandma Rosie's birthday! I know she was celebrating up in heaven. Since we don't live in the same town she is buried, we are going to make is a yearly tradition to buy flowers and plant them on her birthday! She LOVED all flowers. She spent hours and days planting them, tending to them, and picking off the dead ones (daily) and they just brought tons of joy to her life. So we will celebrate her every year with flowers!

This is an old picture of us, but I look at it every morning on my dresser. It is not cropped, centered and is a random shot of us wedding dress shopping, but it is a great picture when my grandma was healthy and full of life. I still want to pick up the phone and tell her all about what is going on, she would love hearing all about the girls, but I know she is watching over all of us from heaven!! We love and miss Grandma Rosie lots and lots!!

Birthday Weekend

Last weekend we celebrated 4 Birthdays! It was a crazy, busy weekend but lots of fun!  We also had gymnastics and baseball in the mix so extra crazy!!  We had 3 birthday parties at Kids Gone Wild.  The jump pictures are awful since they were action shots with my phone!!

We ended our birthday weekend celebrating Liam's 1st Birthday...seems like we were just having his baby shower!!

Little Swimmers

We have two little swimmers on our hands! Allison has been taking lessons since she was about a year and does awesome. Last year we tried lessons with Paige and the instructor was a "boy" and she was not interested at all, but loves to swim, so we just worked with her in Grandma and Paka's pool. This year both girls hopped in, and started swimming right where they left off last year. It is pretty crazy to watch Paige since she had not had "real" lessons. This year they will both have lesson and keep swimming at the Hulbert Pool!!!

Trampoline Fun

The girls love jumping on the trampoline and it is always great when friends come over to jump too! One day the Broward kids came to jump and play.

Then the neighbor girls came over to jump, and of course loved it when Geoff bounced them. I am not sure who is the bigger kid! They had a blast.

And later that week Luke and Will came over to visit and Will had a blast jumping. He did not want to stop to drink his water. Baby Luke slept right through the craziness and then woke up for a little lovin' from the Hulbert Fam!!

I always thought it would be fun to have a trampoline, but never knew how much laughter and enjoyment the kids would really have. Yes, it does sometimes bring tears but usually lots of laughter and fun! Can't wait for summer!!

Allie's Fan Club

We have been spending lots of time at the ball park and the other night Allison had her own little fan club.

It is not always easy to sit and watch the game for an entire hour so we took a little break at the playground and then headed back to cheer on Allie girl and the Lookouts!!

Uncle Dick turns 8-0!!!!

It is really hard to believe my Uncle Dick and Aunt Jeannine (Anna Jean as the girls call her) are really 80! They still seem like they did when we were growing up, young as ever! It is always fun to get together with the Concord fam and celebrate, but this was a very special occasion. Too bad Gram was not here to celebrate, she sure loved her big brother Uncle Dick. I know she was watching over us while we celebrated!! It was a perfect afternoon and the kids loved being out in the backyard in the "fort" (under the orange tree) and in the garden. It was a great way to celebrate a very special 80 year old!! Cheers to many more!

Morning with Baby Luke

The other morning while Allie was at school, Paige and I got to watch Baby Luke for an hour while Fiona ran to get her toes done! We had a great morning. He was so happy when we talked to him and Paige was holding him. She thought it was the coolest thing ever!!!

Happy Easter 2013

The girls were very excited for the Easter Bunny to show up to our house! He did not disappoint  and the girls loved seing their baskets full of goodies in the morning.

That crazy bunny hid lots of the (real) eggs out back, so it made for an interesting egg hunt. I think I will remind the bunny to hide plastic ones next year :o) The snails got to some of the eggs, the eggs were cracked and wet...so lots of screaming and "Yuck" as we were hunting. It was fun, just a little messy!

After our fun morning Geoff and Allison headed to church at Uncle Jerry's church! Paige and I stayed home because she was still not feeling her best, but Allison got to go on an egg hunt and brought some home for Paigee girl.

Then we packed up the car and headed to the Brazelton Ranch for Eater dinner. The weather was perfect and we had a great day at the ranch!

Can't believe another Easter is down in the books! Crazy it is already April!!! Hope you had a Happy Easter with your loved ones!!
