Paige Kaitlyn Turns 5

It is hard to believe that this little bundle of joy entered our lives 5 years ago. She was absolutely perfect when she completed our family on 5.14.2010 and still is perfect! We are blessed to have her in our lives.

Paige started Reading Bobs Books "Hop" . We can't wait to see what the 5th year brings!

On your special day you always get a yummy breakfast on the "You Are Special" Red plate! We sang happy birthday with a fun "5" candle.

Paige got a special treat and got to come work out with me at Kaia. She did awesome and even had her own kettle bell for the workout.

Grandma Ganne and Paka ordered Paige a special Ladybug cake. It was almost too cute to eat!

Big sister loved celebrating her little sis.

Paige got to open a few gifts on her real day.....

She got a special birthday gift. This darling outfit was hand made by a local vendor. It you have not checked out Gentry's Closet on Etsy or FB, stop what you are doing and check it to. Tons of cute stuff!

Paige has been dreaming of a baby carrier, and Grandma and Paka found a "real" one and she loves it!

Never heard of a Zoomer Zuppie until this year, but Paige was super excited to get one!

Paige had a great birthday celebration and we are looking forward to her party with family and friends!

Paige's School Birthday Celebration

Birthday Celebrations at Great Day are always a hit. You get treated like royalty and Paige has been looking forward to her school birthday celebration since last year! When she walked into school, she had a special message on the white board!

On your birthday you get to sit, and even stand on the special birthday chair. It is pretty awesome!

You get fitted with a special crown hand made by the amazing teachers! It has stickers and glitter galore!

Once your crown is secure on your head, you get to stand on the birthday chair while the class sings happy birthday, with a REAL candle.

Paige loves sitting in the birthday chair with her special crown!

Prayer before eating snack....

Paige wanted to bring My Little Pony napkins and frosted sprinkle cookies. They were a hit!

Paige with her BFF at school. Koa Boa is a sweet, sweet girl, and Paige always look forward to seeing her. We will miss her next year.

It is sad that this in our last birthday celebration at Great Day! We will always hold a special place in our hearts for Great Day Preschool!!!

Mother's Day

It is always fun to celebrate Mother's Day with the girls. They get so excited to celebrate, and I am blessed to be their mama. Didn't get to spend it with my mama, but had a great day.

The girls wanted me to wait in bed so they could bring me breakfast in bed. Geoff was giving blood so they really did the whole thing all on their own. They were super excited and proud!

Every year in April, on my Grandma Rosie's birthday we honor her by planting flowers. We visit her at the cemetery when we are in Oregon, but that is not often enough. So every year on her birthday, we plant beautiful flowers for her. She spent lots of spring days shopping for flowers, and many, many hours planting beautiful flowers. She loved every minute of it and was the queen of picking off the dead ones. April slipped away from us, so Mother's Day was a great day to plant flowers for Gram. Still miss her every. single. day.

Cousin/Family Time

While we were in Portland visiting Baby Mason, we also got to spend time with cousins and family. We went to the Oregon Zoo with all of the Stoddard cousins and had a great time.....

Then we went to see my college roommate and her family. Baby N was there too, but she didn't make it into the pic. We don't see each other often enough, but when we get together, it feels like no time passed at all.

We got to meet another new baby cousin. Baby Marcus and Mason are a few months apart. They are the babies of the bunch and we can't wait to see them grow up together.

We always love going to the "forest" at Great Grandpa Ron's house. We sure miss Grandma Rosie when we visit, but the kids love hanging out. We got to see Ellie and Emmett.

We even go to make S'mores.....yum-o!

Welcome Baby Mason Joseph

We are so excited for my brother Joseph and his wife Rachael on the birth of their first baby. They are officially members of the parenthood club! My brother has always been a baby lover, and he finally has a baby of his very own! Mason Joseph, was born healthy and perfect on May 4th. We hopped on a plane as soon as we could, and got to hold him when he was 12 hours old. The girls were over the moon and we had a great visit with our new little babe!
