❤ Joseph & Rachael's Wedding ❤

Last weekend, we were up in Portland, Oregon celebrating my brother Joseph and Rachael's wedding.  Rachael and I went to Willamette together and it great to welcome her to our family. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and the girls were flower girls. Allison has been super excited to be a "real" flower girl, but Paige was not so sure about the whole idea. We had side bets that Paige might not walk down the aisle but she did, and did a great job. Leave it to Rach to have a "candy buffet" for the kiddos to enjoy, so we did a little bribing with candy to get Paige to put her dress on and it worked ;o) It was a beautiful ceremony and event. We could not be happier for my brother and are very excited to have "Aunt" Rach in the family!!! Congrats to you both, and cheers to many happy years ahead!!!

All of us girls went to get hair and make-up done and then all got ready at The Nines...Cathy was remembering how to tie the dress....Katlin is double checking with Rach to make sure it is right...

Haley  jumped in to help, and as she was synching Rach in her dress, she said "this is payback for when you used to french braid our hair so tight"....too cute...sisterly love!

 The Beautiful Bride!!!

A few sour patch kids later, and we are in the dress and ready to rock and roll!

First Day of Kindergarten

This was a huge day in our house! Allie has been excited for school to start since she got done in June. She had been excited to start her new adventure at Woodland Christian with Mrs. Crouch, but has also been trying to figure out how it will compare to Great Day! She was up and ready to go with her big smile (Mrs. Crouch said to bring big smiles on the first day when we were at orientation) bright and early. It was great to see all of the parents and new faces. Mr. Smith was greeting kids and parents as we walked to class. It is great knowing that Allie is one of 12 in her class. With huge classes and all day kindergarten in our area, we feel very blessed that she is able to attend WC and have a small class and only go half day.  She had an awesome first day and I know she will love her new adventure. I am so glad she is not a crier like her mama! However, I did hold back the tears until I got back in the car! It was a great day and start to a wonderful 2012-2013 school year!
