Plainfield Jog-A-Thon

Allison Grace is having a great year at Plainfield Elementary and was super excited for the jog-a-thon this year. She always gives it her all, and did a great job. She even let Paige run with her the entire time. After the jog-a-thon we got to have a picnic lunch. It was a great event and look forward to the next one! Paigee girl is totally prepared when she is a Mustang next year!

Mrs. Y and Als both still smiling at the end of the run! Fun Day!!

Soccer Season

Paigee girls had a great Spring Soccer Season. She loved having Geoff as her coach a played with a bunch of nice girls, with nice families. We had a fun season. It was fun to cheer this little soccer player on every Saturday!
I am officially a soccer mom! I offered to make bows for the girls and they actually turned out. Thank you Pinterest!
Paige was excited for her first game. Had her "jazz hands" and all!
Talking a little break on the sidelines.....
Paige has always been a great cheerleader while watching Allie at her games, so now it was Allie's turn to be on the sidelines....in style of course :o)
Paige at practice....she is so intense sometimes but then other times, just like whatever.....

There was always a new adventure with 6U girls at practice. Sometimes one was crawling on the ground like a cat, one day a little one stopped in the middle of practice to get out her toothbrush and brush her teeth. The same little one took a detour to the playground during a dribbling drill. On any given Wednesday, you never knew what you were going to get at practice! But on Saturday, they all showed up and played their little hearts out! It was a fun season!!

Spring Break

It has been a long time....I know :o( but when you see all these posts you will know why I have not had a minute to sit down an blog :o)

The girls and our school had different Spring Breaks this year, so we just hung out close to home and had a few little day trips close to home! These are some events in no particular order.....

The girls started swim team and are super excited. Go Woodland Wreckers!!
We went to watch our friend Addie in her ballet performance.......
We went out to the country to have a BBQ with the Broward Fam....we sure miss having them 5 doors down, but it is always fun to take a "field trip" to see them :o)

We went to a Cut-A-Thon to support a little girl Allison used to dance with who is battling cancer

Made the trek to Concord to visit with Uncle Dick and all of the bay area cousins. We sure miss having Aunt Jeannine (Anna Jean) there.....

Went to Higby's to see Uncle Scott and Aunt Nic at work, then stopped in Davis for lunch at Noah's

The girls sporting their new Higby's hats......Uncle Scott always give the girls treasures when they visit. I like these better than the crickets, fake mice, huge dog bones, etc.....
The girls got to go to Kaia with me, and Allison did the whole class. She worked so hard and had fun! Paige did it off and on but had more fun playing with her Kaia buddy Z.
Allison got her retainer off and now has even teeth! She only had to wear it for a few weeks, but did perfect so it worked well. She asked Dr. Ho if she could keep it on for longer :o) Paige was a good support when she went to get it tightened each week!

We met the Looney Fam  and Baby Char at the Sac Zoo......

I surprised the girls with a mini make over at the mall. They were over the moon.....

You must ride the carousel when you go to the mall....

Ended our little date with lunch at BJ's. Such a fun day!
Sometimes "non-formal" mini vacations are just as fun as big trips :o)
