Open House

This week both girls had Open House. Paige's was on Tuesday and Allison's was on Thursday. Paige was super excited to show us all around and it was fun for Allison to be "all grown up" and back at her old preschool. I didn't take a lot of pics because I was "working". I am on the board so had to sell CD's! It was a great time.

Then on Thursday, we had Open House for Allison. She was proud to show us all of her work and classroom. She even gave us a tour of the second grade classrooms and the one with baby chicks was a hit. Grandpa Ron flew in from Scappoose this day, so met us at the school and got see the classroom too!

Our Little Actress

Allison auditioned for the Jungle Book Kids production back in January. She took a music theater class it the Fall and caught the "acting bug". She wanted to audition for the Jungle Book production, but I had no idea how it all worked.

I saw online that the auditions were going to be in January but was not sure what she needed to do for auditions. It said to bring a song in your key and you would sing it for the director. I thought that would be the end of it. Well, it was a lot more than that, and after a 3-hour audition and watching some very talented kids, I thought it was a long shot that Als would get a part. She did awesome, but lots of the kids were super prepared and really knew what they were doing. We were definitely rookies. Well 2 weeks later, we got the cast list, and sure enough, it said Allison Hulbert - Bee. She was so excited and couldn't wait for rehearsals to start. She looked forward to every rehearsal and loves all of her "cast family". She has been rehearsing for the last 2 months, and during tech week had rehearsals every night for 4 hours leading up to opening night.  During tech week I got to work in the green room and help, and Allison thought it was so cool to have her very own dressing room.

Last Friday was opening night and it was an awesome performance. There is nothing like seeing your baby girl on the big stage. We have never watched a rehearsal because they are all closed. So it was pretty exciting for us to see the show. Paige has been her #1 fan and loved seeing Allie on stage. Allison had lots of family and friends there to support her. Then lots more family and friends throughout the opening weekend. I was not sure how it all worked after the show the first night,  so we did not get pics of Uncle Jerry, Aunt Fay, the Brazeltons, or Fiona and Will, but they were all there cheering her on! Here are a few pics, and there will be lots more to come.

Happy Birthday Molly

We had a great time celebrating Molly Grace at her 4th Birthday! Seems like yesterday Jenn and I were both pregnant with our baby girls. Now Molly is 4, and Paige will be 4 in a month! We had a great time at her Teddy Bear Tea Party and then had a nice evening hangin' with the Eathorne Fam!

Pony Rides & Funderland

One day when we didn't have basketball, birthday parties, showers, softball, nada....on the calendar so the girls wanted to go to Fairytale town. When we got there the line was out the gate and the line at the zoo was even longer so we decided to try Funderland. We have never been and the girls loved it! It was a little like the fair...but the girls had a blast. We also got to ride ponies and horses in Land Park. It was a fun way to spend the day!
