Allie's Valentine's Party

It was also fun to get to work in Allison's class for her Valentine's party! There is not as much going on in 1st grade as there is in pre school, but it was fun to be there with Als. She was super excited to deliver her special Valentine's to each person in her class. They exchanged cards, had treats and watched Lady and the Tramp. It was a fun way to celebrate on the actual day!

Paige's Valentie's Day Party

It was fun to work in Paige's class at her Valentine's Party. She loves her school, teachers and friends and it is always fun to be with her at school for special events.

She loved delivering Valentine's....so fun!

Then played a little dress up with friends. She was a bride today and loved looking at herself in the mirror!

 I have almost this exact same picture of Allie and 3 little friends when she was at pre school. There is just something magical about the dress up room!

 Took a little break at first circle....they all did :o)

 It was a very special day because Gus the owl came out! He only comes out when everyone is at school. It was fun to see the reaction on all the little faces!

 But he made it in....and even cooked them dinner :o)

 It was lots of fun to stand back and watch all of the kids engaged in all sorts of fun activities

After playtime and a little prayer each kiddo got to decorate their own heart cookie and also got a cute ladybug pretzel treat!

It was sure a Great, Great Day!!

Rainy Days in Feb

There are not many rainy days here in Cali, so when there are a few in a row we kinda start to hibernate. We were able to keep busy but also got to slow down a little. Here is a little sneak peek of our rainy day weekend a few weeks ago....

Paige wore her rain boot, rain jacket and took her matching umbrella out every chance she could....

We celebrated Cousin K's 8th birthday at the movies. We watched The Lego Movie.....

 We saw Olaf at the day of K's party, so of course went to see Frozen the next day....I can't ever remember going to the movies 2 days in a row....Girls thought it was the coolest thing ever!!

The girls worked on hand made Valentine's cards for classmates! Paige was over it after about the 10th one, but Allison worked and worked and created a specialized one for every classmate. After 44 Valentine's we did not make family ones for cousins or friends...maybe next year :o) 

 Allison created her Valentine's mail box for her class party. She was very proud of it and it was fun to see her work hard on it!

Valentine's Day Photo Shoot

My friend Alissa started a photography business and had a Valentine's Day themed mini session. Alissa did an amazing job and it was so fun to see all of the pics of the girls. There are a lot of them, but too many cute ones to leave any out! You should check out her website here.

PJ & Pancake Day

Paige finally got to experience her very own PJ & Pancake Day. It is a big deal around here when Allie has her PJ & Pancake days, but today was Paigee girls turn to have her very own day at her school. I got to work in the classroom and was designated the pancake cooker :o) Paige thought it was pretty cool and so did I. I love, love, love working in the classroom. It was fun to see Paige interact with her friends and follow directions. She is a good little student! Paige got to be the Weather Watcher while I was there and this is also a huge deal in our house! She loved looking out the door and telling the class what type of day it was and that they would need a coat! We had a great time at PJ & Pancake Day and once agin I am reminded of how very blessed we are to have both girls start their school careers at such a wonderful place!
