The other day Geoff asked the girls what they wanted to do this summer. Geoff is going to take some long weekends over the summer since he does not have an "official summer break", so they made a list of things to do. Fishing was on the list, and one of Geoff's teachers lives on this amazing property with a lake on it! The girls were super excited to go, but once we got on the boat Paige wanted to turn around immediately. So instead of trying to change her mind on the boat, Geoff took a detour and put us back on shore!
She was a happy little camper, watching a show and watching Als and dad fish from dry land!
I could have sat here all day. It was peaceful and beautiful as far as you could see....
Geoff and Allison, the little fisherwoman. She caught a few fish so she was happy!
Geoff's Grandma Ruth always took him fishing and he has many fond memories....She was watching over as they were tootling around the lake....
Geoff and Allie fished for about an hour while Paige and I watched from the shore. Geoff thought he would try fishing from the bank a few times and when he reeled in his line to get the "gunk" off, he had this little guy on the line!

There is another spot on the lake that I could have sat in all day.....
It was a super hot day, so the girls and Geoff took a dip in the pool before heading home...
We had a wonderful time. They had goats, a pool, go-karts, a lake....we might just have to go back a time or two this summer :o)
