Allison and Paige spent the week before Valentine's Day making special Valentine's for each of their classmates.
Allison was super excited when the actual day to deliver them at school arrived!
Paige was super excited for her party and to deliver her special cards too.....
Paige loved delivering cards to all of her classmates....
Paige and her BFF....she loves K.....
It is always a big deal to get your name pulled out of the can to be the weather friend. It was extra special because I was working in the classroom and got to see Paige in action.
After the weather report. Paige got to give kids clues to see who was getting pulled out of the can next. This friend got to roll the poetry cube....so fun!
Paige loves to slide down the "fire pole"
Pagie and a buddy helping pick up in the play yard...
All lined up after outside time....playing a little "If you are happy and you know it...."During the party the kids got to use their place mats they made, and got to decorate yummy cookies.
Paige admiring all of her loot from her party.....
After Paige's school day, we headed down the road to Allison's school so we could work in her classroom during her class party...This is Allison's friend A, (since preschool) and her mom always does a cute heart hair-do on Valentine's Day!
Allison with A and another girl who was the "sticker police"
Classmates having fun....
Als was excited for her party...almost time to deliver Valentine's
They are off and delivering....That is K, another buddy from preschool and now they are in the same class again....
All of the 2nd graders LOVED having P in the class. She even got to help deliver some cards and got a few from classmates. It was cool.
Allison got a mystery Valentine from her mama...and she was excited!
The girls sitting next to each other during the party. It was a great way to end the day!
On the actual Valentine's Day the girls opened gifts and mail. Uncle Jerry always sends cards with confetti so we are always prepared. But Aunt Rach and Uncle Jos surprised us, and their cards were full of heart confetti. Our house and our floor were full of these....
Once they were on the floor the girls just thought they would make and even bigger mess....why not?!
Instead of fighting crowds and going out to dinner we went to a UCD gymnastics meet. The girls loved watching the events, but after a while decided they would bust some moves on the empty court overlooking the meet
♥ We had a great time celebrating this special day with the ones we love the most ♥
