Mother's Day

It is always fun to celebrate Mother's Day with the girls. They get so excited to celebrate, and I am blessed to be their mama. Didn't get to spend it with my mama, but had a great day. 

The girls wanted me to wait in bed so they could bring me breakfast in bed. Geoff was giving blood so they really did the whole thing all on their own. They were super excited and proud! 

Every year in April, on my Grandma Rosie's birthday we honor her by planting flowers. We visit her at the cemetery when we are in Oregon, but that is not often enough. So every year on her birthday, we plant beautiful flowers for her. She spent lots of spring days shopping for flowers, and many, many hours planting beautiful flowers. She loved every minute of it and was the queen of picking off the dead ones.  April slipped away from us, so Mother's Day was a great day to plant flowers for Gram. Still miss her every. single. day.

Cousin/Family Time

While we were in Portland visiting Baby Mason, we also got to spend time with cousins and family. We went to the Oregon Zoo with all of the Stoddard cousins and had a great time.....

Then we went to see my college roommate and her family. Baby N was there too, but she didn't make it into the pic. We don't see each other often enough, but when we get together, it feels like no time passed at all.

We got to meet another new baby cousin. Baby Marcus and Mason are a few months apart. They are the babies of the bunch and we can't wait to see them grow up together.

We always love going to the "forest" at Great Grandpa Ron's house. We sure miss Grandma Rosie when we visit, but the kids love hanging out. We got to see Ellie and Emmett.

Welcome Baby Mason Joseph

We are so excited for my brother Joseph and his wife Rachael on the birth of their first baby. They are officially members of the parenthood club! My brother has always been a baby lover, and he finally has a baby of his very own! Mason Joseph, was born healthy and perfect on May 4th. We hopped on a plane as soon as we could, and got to hold him when he was 12 hours old. The girls were over the moon and we had a great visit with our new little babe!
