Earlier this year, Geoff and Allie bought bird feeders one day while I was at work so it is their little project to fill the bird feeders. We have had our "Yellow Finch" feeder for while but never seem to actually get yellow finch to come eat. We get red finch and all other sorts of finch and it is fun to watch but we have been waiting for the yellow finch. A month or so ago our little guys showed up! Geoff has to fill the feeder up about every other day and they are waiting in the bushes and on the fence while he is filling the feeder. I love getting up in the morning and opening the kitchen window to see our little friends. They even braved the wind storm a week or so ago and were hanging on for dear life but were still out there. We hope they stick around for a while!
