Santa Game

Every year at Thanksgiving, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Fay give the kids a Chocolate Advent Calendar. Last year Allie was too little to understand what it was all about but she would see it and say "choc-o-late"...she caught on pretty fast. We would sometimes give in and let her have more than one, because she was so little and cute while eating her chocolate. This year she calls it the Santa Game and understands a little more. At first she had a hard time just eating one candy. She said "One...what? No fair"....Geoff and I were laughing and wanted to give in but didn't. Now that we are on the 5th day she is getting better and wants to play the Santa Game all the time, but knows she can only have one chocolate a day (from the calendar) so Santa comes on the right day! We sometimes have to resort to chocolate kisses or emmies (M&M's) but she likes playing. It is a lot of fun and we like this little tradition! Thanks Uncle Jerry & Aunt Fay.
