Monday was a big day for Allison Grace. This is her week to be Star of the Week and it is a huge deal in her classroom. All students in Mrs. Crouch's kinder class get to be celebrated twice a year. Once on their birthday (or half birthday, if it is in the summer) and once when they are the Star of the Week.
When you are the Star of the Week you get to make a poster about yourself, make an "All about Me" book, wear a crown, sit on the "teacher's chair", have a special balloon in front of your desk, share your poster in front of the class (and I got to go help her), and share your favorite book with the class on Wednesday. Allie is going to take Llama, Llama Red Pajama.
Allison has been working on her poster. We had fun shopping for stickers that represent her. She picked all of them out and picked the perfect spot for each one...it is kinda busy...we had a hard time choosing...so we just used all of them :o)
It was great to see her in front of all of her classmates. She did an awesome job, and is for sure a STAR!!
