Tahoe Snow Trip

We have talked about going to the snow with the Eathorne Fam for a while but never had time to make it work with Allison's crazy rehearsal schedule and life with busy kiddos. But right before tech week she had a few days off and Burke and Geoff made a plan. We spent the day at Soda Springs and the kids had lots of fun. Then we headed to Tahoe and stayed in a condo right on the Lake. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will do it again for sure! 

The girls were super excited to play in the snow.....

There were lots of people who had the same idea as us....we stood in line for a while to get passes....

The kids quickly figured out it was much more fun to play in the snow while waiting in line.....

Right out of the gate Carter tagged Allie in the face with a snowball, so she is getting him back....

After one run down the big hill on inner tubes Allison and Geoff took a little hike up the hill to watch.....none of the kids were really fond of the big hill and tubing, so we were able to go to the kids park and the kids had a blast......

Als made it all clear to the bottom...I was pushing her down, so didn't get an action shot....She liked it much better than the big hill.....

Allie decided she did not want to try skiing or snowboarding so she went with Geoff and built some snowmen....

Als pretending to wear the skis....she says she will try next time. I was kind of relieved because Pinocchio can't have a broken leg the week before the show opens!!

We had a great time and were all smiles at the end of the day. It got really cold, really fast when the sun went down.....

Geoff was such a trooper. His boots came unglued so he was walking around with flapping soles. Also turns out he had strep throat and didn't know it.....

After all day in the show we rode the gondola at North Star up to the Ritz Carlton....Fancy, Schmancy! We loved drinking hot coca by the fire and watching people. We had a great time and can't wait for our next adventure to the snow!
