Easter Eggs

Allie and Geoff went on a little shopping spree the other day and came home with all kinds of treasures! One of the big purchases was a Easter Egg dying kit. We didn't dye eggs last year but thought we would try it this year. Allie has been asking to do it since she bought the kit. She was not sure what it was all about but wanted to dye the eggs just like the ones on the box. On Sunday morning we decided to set up for the mess and it was lots of fun. Allison was unsure at first but once the boring white eggs turned colors she was all in. She especially liked making "Pinkalicious" eggs. Later that day, we had an egg hunt out back. Murphy (our rabbit) was in the yard with Allie and she said he was helping her hunt for eggs. It was lots of fun! I guess we are practicing early for the big day. I am sure we will dye more eggs and have lots of egg hunts from now until Easter.
