This week was Allie's pre school field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Geoff was able to go with us before he went to work so we all went together and it was fun for Allie to have Geoff take her to school. Before we left the house she was giving Geoff instructions on how to check her in. Too funny how quickly things become routine! It was fun to see Allie among her peers at the patch. We don't get to see her in action at pre school so it was cool to see. There were lots of 3 year olds running around and I have to say is God Bless pre school teachers!! Wow...they have a hard job! We went to a family farm here in town and it was cool that we were the only ones at the patch. It was actually at one of Allie's classmates grandparents house. The kids had a lot of fun and everyone got to choose a pumpkin. They had special Halloween cookies and juice for snack and then headed back to school to play for a bit in the play yard. It is not a true school day if you don't play in the play yard!
Geoff and I were married in 2001 and were blessed with our first daughter, Allison Grace in July 2007, and our second daughter, Paige Kaitlyn in 2010. I am a part-time, independent study teacher and Geoff is an administrator at our school. We have a good balance of work and home. We created this blog to keep our family and friends in the loop and let them know what goes on around the Hulbert house. Thanks for reading!
