Last weekend we made the trek out to Penryn Oaks Stables to Santa’s Secret Adventure! This was our second year going and Grandma Rhonda made a special trip from Oregon to join us. We also invited Grandma and Paka, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Fay, The Brazelton Family and the Shimabukuro Family. I think the hit of the night was horseback riding. This year they did not have scheduled times to do things so we just went around at our own leisure. The kids rode horses, ate cookies, drank hot chocolate, met Mrs. Claus and read a story and sang songs with the elves. Then went and saw Santa in the barn. We could not take pictures this year (boo...) so there are not Santa pictures. I will have to check out the site to purchase them. This was a bit disappointing but Allie showed Santa her wish book and all of the kids got to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Paige got to sit on the elf Jilly's lap and she wasn't even scared. She was perfect all night. She was held or in the Ergo all night so she loved it. After visiting with Santa, we went to the petting zoo, rode the horses again and took a horse drawn carriage around the property. It was a great night at Santa's Secret Adventure!!
