Christmas Eve 2012

Every year, we have a crazy Christmas Eve full of festivities. We visit family at Uncle Jerry and Aunt Fay's for lunch, go to the Children's Christmas Eve Service at Uncle Jerry's church, then head to Scott and Nicole's for Christmas Eve dinner and gift exchange. This year we did it all, except did not make it to Uncle Jerry & Aunt Fay's for lunch. The Hawaii crew was sick and we didn't want to get the "bug" or interrupt when they were feeling yucky. We were sad to miss, but hope to see them all soon. So we started our day at Uncle Jerry's church service, and this year both girls were in the pageant. Allie got to be an Angel and Paige was a sheep. Well, Paige decided about halfway through the program that she wanted to stand in the middle of the stage "by baby Jesus", but Geoff herded her with the other sheep in her flock and she sat with them for the rest of the program. Allie was a perfect angel (of course) :o) It is a super cool, low key service and we love that the girls are able to be a part of it.

Next we headed to Dixon to be with the rest of the Hulbert Fam. The girls had fun playing with Aunt Nicole's nieces and nephew, and of course the "big boys". They love their big cousins, Todd and Ry-Ry.  All the kids had a great time together. It was lots of fun.

Once we got back home, the girls put lots of reindeer food on the lawn for Santa's reindeer. I am sure the reindeer saw all of the glitter and had plenty to eat! They also left a Santa a note, milk & cookies. They are super excited to see what Santa brings in the morning!!

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care.......Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
