Last week Paige had her 12 month check-up. She is growing like a little weed and doing well. She weighed in at 21 pounds and is 29 1/2 inches tall. She is in the 50th percentile for weight and 60th percentile for height. She loves Dr. Otani, but had just been to urgent care a few days before and was not so fond of the ear checker. When Dr. Otani pulled it out Paige shook her head no! It was funny because Dr. Otani had just asked about object permanence, and then said "I think she has that down". We did not get Paige's shots since she was getting over her first ear infection but will take her back to do that soon :o( We just thought it would be good to give her little body a break.
Paige says: Dada, Mama, Sissa, Jack, Hop-Hop (bunny), ruh-ruh (dog) and sometimes dog, moo, baaa, ball, Paka-Paka-Paka, sock, cute, down, cracker (cack-a), baby, tick-a-tick-a (tickle), stop, more, all done (ahh duh), nuh-nuh (nurse), rah-rock (rock), hooray, Gabba-Gabba (Yo Gabba-Gabba). The other night we were at dinner in Davis and a guy who looked like DJ Lance walked in and Paige said "Gabba-Gabba" and pointed to him.
Paige likes to eat: Strawberries, blueberries, oatmeal, yogurt, cheese, bread, crackers, green beans, carrots, taco chicken, cookies, smoothies, ice cream, and drink water.
Paige likes to: Climb the stair or chairs or anything, bounce down the stairs on her butt or tummy, read books, pet the dog, swing and slide at the park, play outside, explore every nook and cranny, nurse, rock, sleep in our bed, play with babies, play with sister, give kisses, get kisses, wave bye-bye, crawl really fast, pull up on everything, get in the dog bowl (we are getting quicker), see and pet the rabbit, go to Kindermusik class, sing songs, listen to music, dance and clap, re-arrange the drawers and cupboards, color with sister, watch Yo-Gabba-Gabba, and shake her head no when she does not like something!
We love watching all of the ways Paige has grown and changed in 12 short months. She is an awesome "baby", yes she will always be our baby even when she is 20 she will still be the "baby". Keep smiling Paigee girl!! We love you lots and lots!!!
**She does have other clothes besides PJ's. I guess I just snap pictures in the morning**
