Last day of Pre School

Last Thursday was Allie's last day of Pre School. We are so blessed with the wonderful Pre School she has been a part of this year. She loves to go to school and always asks if it is a "T" day (since she goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday). It is crazy to think back to the first day of school when we were dropping Allie off.

First Day of 3 Year Old Preschool--September 2010

She had grown so much and we always have to stop and remember she is only 3 years old. She loves her friends. Loves to make projects, dress up, play outside, climb on the climber, be the weather watcher, play in the sandbox and talk to all of the kids and teachers. She knows all of her letters and most of the sounds. She can write her name. She is potty trained (we were supposed to be when we started but she stopped wearing a pull-up to school in December). She can spell Mom, Dad, Pa, Paige, Dog and Cat. She loves to count and her vocabulary surprises us every day. This is an example of and Allie conversation: "Mom I found this lady bug at Grandma's house and it has an injured wing. Isn't that just so upsetting that his wing is injured?" I think the little guy might have been more than injured but we have him in a jar for safe keeping! On Allie's self portrait at school she said she wants to be a doctor when she grows up so she can fix people. I don't doubt for one minute that she would be a great doctor. It will be so fun to watch Allie grow and change each year.
