Yesterday Allison and I got to go on a date to see Mary Poppins Live. Allie loves to watch the Mary Poppins DVD and has the songs and parts of it memorized. When Grandma Ganne told us the Broadway Musical was coming to Sacramento we knew we had to get tickets! Allie was so excited for the show. She woke up early in the morning singing "Chim-Chimeny" and "Just a Spoon Full of Sugar" and was ready to go to the show. I knew we had good seats (5th row) but didn't realize how good they were until we got there. We were practically on stage! On the way to the show she called Grandma Rhonda and sang her a few songs that she knew would be part of the performance. She was too excited and talked about the show the whole way there. Our favorite part was the Step In Time tap dancing act. It was awesome! When we were walking out of the theater she said "Mom, I will never forget this show. I just loved it". I hope she never does!! We had a very fun time.
