The (younger) cousins all planned a surfing lesson and we went to cheer them on. They were all able to surf and Morgan (the youngest surfer in the group) got to ride on her instructors shoulders. It was fun to watch all of them. We watched lots of paddle boarders out on the water so Geoff and I thought we would give it a try the next morning. It is NOT as easy as it looks. But once we got a little lesson from a local out in the water it was much easier and I could actually do it. Geoff had a really skinny board at first and once he traded he was up the whole time. No one was there to take pictures but we had fun...well an adventure. Not sure if it will be our next sport, but we were glad we did it!
Allie was a bit bored by the end of the lessons so we missed Shannon surfing. We headed out to have a shaved ice instead. It was a hit and the girls loved it. We went to the local shaved ice hut almost every morning. Nothing like perfect Hawaiian shaved ice ❤❤❤
