4th of July

We started the morning with a neighborhood decorating party and bike parade. Fiona always did this growing up, so one day we put flyers on doorsteps and hoped people would get them. They did, and it is crazy to see how many kids/families live on our street. It was a great time! Super hot, so the girls were "done" by the end but it was fun to meet new neighbors and have a fun parade through the neighboorhood. We are excited for the 2nd Annual one next year!

Since we were all roasted at 11:30am we ran over to Grandma and Paka's and jumped in for a quick dip in the pool before naps. Then headed back over there and hung out in the pool most of the day and had a nice dinner. Then had to make s'mores...I think the chocolate melted before the hot marshmallow was on it!  I think it reached 111, so it was a hot one!

After dinner and s'mores we headed to our house to do fireworks. Allison and Kainoa loved it, and Paige was "ok" with it. This year she was outside for a few, then made her way back in the house and watched from the window! We had a great 4th!
