2nd Grader

Allison had an amazing kinder year at WC and a pretty good 1st grade year, but this year we thought it was time to move over to public school. We have visited Allie's new school many times and I really like it. We would have started there in Kinder if it was half day, but are so glad we ended up WC for Kinder where Allison's educational foundation was built by Mrs. Crouch. Now fast forward to 2nd grade and our sweet girl will be at a little public school out in the country! Her good friend A is also starting at the same school this year. Allie knows lots of kiddos from sports teams, pre-school and acting classes, so she is excited for this new adventure. She was so excited for the Ice Cream Social to find out who is in her class and who her teacher is going to be!

I was not sure if I was going to do the "night before school" thing, but a week or so before school, Allis said "Mom, you are still going to do all that fun stuff on the first day of school right?" You betcha...so the table is all ready for our sweet 2nd Grader.

Our little baby girl is growing up right before our eyes....I know she will have a great day.....

Allison was super excited to make her teacher a 1st Day of School card...she is so thoughtful.....

Backpack is hung and ready to go out to the playground to line up....this is new territory for us. 

It is so nice for A and A that they both switched schools. They have been at school together every year since 3 year old preschool! 

These little doll babies all walked into Great Day for 3-year old preschool and now are reunited in the same class again.

First day of school assembly....

I know Allison will have a great year this year! She loves school, loves to learn and loves being with friends. Cheers to a great start of 2nd Grade!!
